About Capitol Compass
Capitol Compass aims to develop a deep bench of movement lobbyists. By empowering allied organizations to build long-term influence and power in Harrisburg, we can ultimately win the changes our communities need.
WHY WE DO IT
Capitol Compass is a labor of love, created by people who all saw the same need and wanted to meet it.
Capitol Compass emerged from members of the PA Justice Alliance who all wanted to address the same gap—a lack of coordinated, structured assistance to groups who want to expand and sharpen their legislative advocacy skills.
Capitol Compass assists organizations working on a variety of issues and operates like a resource hub or lobbying incubator to provide technical assistance and training to organizations and coalitions engaged in state-level legislative advocacy and organizing.
Each of us works full-time with our respective organizations. Capitol Compass does not employ or compensate us, so please be patient as we navigate this new venture!
